How to Free Register TP-link Omada cloud Login?

TP-link Omada cloud account is free to register and anyone can sign up with an Email address.

Follow the steps to get Omada Cloud login free to add your different location devices and manage each location with different cloud controllers.

Open the web browser and visit site-  Omada.TPlinkcloud

For first-time registration click the Sign up option top right cover and you will get the form for email, Name, and password.

Select your country on the first option.

Provide an Email Id that is not already registered in the TP-link account before.

Create a stronger password.

Access the terms and conditions and press the Sign Up button.

You will get a verification email in your Email from TP-link just confirm that email to activate your Omada account.

How to Add Cloud Controller to Omada Cloud Account?

There are three types of controllers that you can manage through TPlink Omada cloud platforms.

  • Cloud controller.
  • Hardware Controller / Integrated Router
  • Software controller installed in any server.

Click on the Add button and choose the Cloud controller option from all the above three options.

Click on the Register button to setup a cloud controller in your Omada cloud platform.

You will get “You have successfully registered for an Omada Standard Cloud-Based Controller!!”

And now you need to set up your controller settings as per your networks.

Click on the “Setup Now” button to proceed configuration.

Welcome to use Omada Controller

Config new setup  – for first-time setup use this.

Restore the backup file.

Press “config new setup” and provide all the details asked.

Controller name- Office-Network

Controller country- India

Controller time zone. India

Controller firmware detection – enable/ disable

Access terms and conditions and press the next button to setup.

Create New Site in the Cloud controller

Now provide the site name you want setup controller for.

Site name– Office

Site Country- choose your site country.

Site time zone- select the time zone to sync the correct time for device monitoring.

Device Account- This username and password will be used after the first time adopting the device and will occur when re-adopting and login device again.

Application Scenario- choose the location from the template you wish to create a controller.

Hotels, restaurants, offices, Hospitals, factories… and more

Choose and press next button.

Configure Wi-Fi

Create a WIFI SSID and password for the Site where you want setup the controller.

Network name SSID- WIFI name for the network

Password– WiFi password

Enable the Guest network if you wish to add visitor WIFI.

Press the next button to confirm all the settings in the final steps and press the finish button if all looks fine.

You will be redirected to the controller dashboard. go to the device and add your devices to start monitoring.

To manage your devices you need controller Licenses as per the total number of controllers or locations you want to manage from your cloud controller.

 

How to activate Omada cloud controller Licenses for Free?

You need controller licenses to manage your network device from cloud controller.

You can get 1 one-month Trial of up to 10 licenses free Omada cloud controller to manage all network devices.

However, you can buy full licenses for your device as follow the below steps.

Login to Cloud Management Platform.

Go to the left side bottom above the settings gear icon is licenses options.

Choose the Omada standard cloud-based controller or the Omada pro local controller that you wish to get licenses.

In the left side top below account settings, you will get Purchase licenses or revoked licensees.

Purchase licenses and you will get license details under your cloud controller account.

How to Assign activate the Omada controller license?

Once you purchased Omada controller licenses for your account then you have to assign it to activate

Go to the licenses option from the left bottom corner.

Step 1– You will get the remaining licenses if you purchased already them.

Step 2- Select the controller to assign licenses- choose your controller.

Step 3– specify the quantity of the licenses to assign.

And confirm and your controller licenses will be activated and you can fully manage your network devices from your TP-link Omada cloud controller.

 

How to Assign and Manage Licenses for Devices?

To auto-assign licenses to devices, follow the steps below

Go to the Licensee option in the cloud account.

Enable both options Auto Active and Auto Renewal.

Auto Active– this option will auto-apply licenses to the device as soon as the controller adopts the device.

Auto-renewal will apply for licenses automatically for active devices after it expired
