Telus WiFi 5 and Telus wifi 6 router login default IP address and username password might be different that depends on the router models. A default IP address can be the same for different model numbers but the login password can be random for each Telus router so check your device’s bottom label to get your password before proceeding to log in.
Telus Default Login IP address- 192.168.1.254
Default Username- admin

Go to the Wireless Setup tab from the top menu.
Wireless settings– Basic settings.
Wireless Radio– enable
Select SSID – TELUS5031 (select SSSID if you create multiple wifi SSID. For dual band wifi you need to change 2.4G and 5G both wifi SSID)
SSID Guest– Disable (enable it if you wish to create a different SSID for the guest)
SSID Broadcast- Enable
SSID Name– TELUS5031 (change this default WIFI name and create a new as per your choice)
Security– WPA2
WPA type- WPA2
Encryption type– AES
Security Key Type– Use custom Key/Passphrase
Apply settings to confirm the configuration. Your wifi device will disconnect from the network if you use an old name and password. Connect again with a new wifi name and password.
After wireless configuration also do not forget to update the Telus admin login password that was printed to the router sticker so it should be changed also.
Change Telus admin password
Changing the Admin password comes under the advanced setup option. Go to the Advance Setup icon from the top menu.
Login password- Under the login password, you can get the option to change the new password.
Current password- provide the default password you use for login as the current password.
New password- create a new password as per your choice but avoid using personal detail on the password
Confirm password– confirm new password to avoid any mistakes.
