Wavlink WiFi Repeater Setup Without WiFi Password
Wavlink range extender device will repeat the WiFi signal range in the dead zone. Extend WiFi range with repeater device to avoid adding an extra wifi router in the home where a single router signal can’t be reached. Setting up the Wavlink AC750 dual-band range extender or AC1200 dual-band repeater device needs to be configured as per the existing WiFi router. Wavlink Repeater Connection and Login First time

- Power on Range extender device
- Go to the laptop or mobile WiFi and connect the Wavlink default WiFi name.
Wavlink’s default Login IP is 192.168.10.1 and the default username and password is “admin”.
Login to Wavlink WiFi repeater settings from Web browser
Now open the web browser and access the wavlink wifi extender with the default IP Address 192.168.l0.1 or ap.setup for wifi repeater login. If 192.168.10.1, not working and the page is not loaded try accessing “http//192.168.10.1”
Use the default login admin to access Wavlink router.
Choose your language and press the submit button to access the settings.
Setup Repeater Mode to join Wifi network
After login wifi repeater device will land on the status page.
Press the Repeater option button under the Wizard option.
Range extender device will scan all Wifi networks running nearby and the list will load.
Find your wifi SSID from the list and select network.
Provide Wavlink-n Repeater Name and existing WiFi network password to allow connection from the Wave link repeater device.
Connect to – Existing Wifi SSID
Repeater SSID: set WiFi name for repeater Network.
Password: provide the WiFi password of an existing WiFi router.
Press the Apply button and wait to save settings.
Confirm all settings on the last page with details.
Press the close button to exit the configuration steps.
After configuration, finish. Now go to the mobile or laptop WiFi option and connect the Repeater device name.
How to Change Default Login IP Address for Wavlink Repeater
If using more than one repeater device in the same network then change the http //192.168.10.1 IP Address to any different IP to avoid network conflict issues.
Go to the Network option and click on the IP address option.
Change the 192.168.10.1 to 192.168.10.2 or any other IP Address and save settings. Login repeater with a new IP address again to make other changes.
How to Change Wavlink WiFi Repeater Login Password
After the Wavlink WiFi repeater setup is complete, do not forget to change the Login password to protect the access of the repeater settings from wifi users. Every repeater device comes with a default password and it is highly recommended to update the login password.
- Go to the Management option and Press on the Password option.
- Provide the current password and create a new password.
- Confirm the password again and save the settings.

How to Find Best Placement for Wavlink WiFi Repeater?
Placement is the most important thing to do after the Wavlink wifi repeater setup is completed to find the best place for your Repeater device. To get a 100% signal and wifi connectivity range extender placement is the most important factor. Find the place where the booster device can get a 50% signal from the host WiFi router and it can cover the dead zone as well.
- Never place a Repeater device under the cupboard and the table.
- Do not cover the extender device with any box.
- Keep the device in an open place to make feasibility with the main WiFi router.
